Maxie

On Saturday, 3 July, I had to take Maxie to the vet and unfortunately due to age and ill health I had to make the awful decision to put her out of her pain.
Maxie was a rescued dog and had been with me for about 10 years. Her previous owner apparently was very cruel and she was often kicked and so her spine was damaged, arthritis crept in and as she aged it became very apparent she was in a lot of pain, and medication could no longer help.
Maxie was the most placid, lovable girl and I miss her heaps, but her pain is gone and I know that she had a good loving home with me and hopefully that made up for the crap life she had earlier. Scooter is grieving for her, but she will be okay.
